Spore Origins for iPhone Coming this Month, Says EA Mobile

Nearly everyone who owns a computer and loves gaming is excited about a game called as Spore. The game released yesterday for the PC platform. However, Electronic Arts was also developing it for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Now EA Mobile has sent word that Spore Origins will release for those platforms later this month.

Travis Boatman, VP, Worldwide Studios, EA Mobile stated, “We are really thrilled to bring Spore Origins to the iPhone and iPod touch. By leveraging the exceptional capabilities of these devices, players can customize their own creatures and shape their destiny in an exciting evolutionary journey.”

Spore Origins makes uses of the built-in accelerometer as gamers will be able to tilt, turn and twist their way through a world made of primordial ooze. The game has two exhilarating modes and gamers can expect thirty-five challenging levels. There is also the Creature Editor as one can customize texture, shape and body parts of the creatures.

Spore Origins has been made exclusively for the iPod Touch and iPhone and will be available worldwide from the Apple App Store. Besides the Spore Origins launch, EA Mobile also stated that games such as Yahtzee Adventures, EA Mini Golf, Lemonade Tycoon, Mahjong, Monopoly: Here & Now The World Edition, SimCity, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09, Need for Speed Undercover, and The Sims 3 are in development for the iPod Touch and iPhone.
